Bisley ranges
Type: Gallery Range
Danger area: Full Danger Area (FDA)
Distance: 5m – 75m
Targets/Bays:
- 3 bays located on the left hand side of Stickledown range between the 800x and 900x firing points.
- LH Bay: 6 collapsible barricades and 10 turning targets (2x banks of 5)
- Centre Bay: 15 turning targets (3x banks of 5) and a moving target
- RH Bay: NRA events only, consisting of 4 static target lanes

The electronic targets offer the distinct advantage of immediate feedback without the added cost of a marker.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee markers or the quality of the marking; the electronic system is the solution. It will offer a quick and reliable reading of fall of shot on the target through a closed (box type) shot detection system.
When making a booking, please choose one of the following options (*range may vary*):
‘*Century* Electronic’ to be for a specific hourly slot. I.e. 08:30 – 10:30
‘*Century* Electronic (Session)’ to be for a whole AM or PM session
Please note, selecting the wrong option may mean you are incorrectly charged
- Bay A – 10 ISSF targets (2x banks of 5)
- Bay B – 20 Turning targets (4x banks of 5)
- Bay C – 2 Overhead Retrievable Targets
Additional notes:
- Bay A – Only to be used by GB Pistol team and Troops to targets.
- Bay B – Night Shooting Permitted
- Bay C – Suitable for wheelchair users
- Heated clubroom and ancilliary facilities.
- 2 Firing points with 2 lanes on each
- FP1: 18 steel targets of varying size able to be engaged up to a distance of 1000m
- FP2: 10 steel targets able to be engaged up to 300m
- Each firing point permits shooting simultaneously at targets within an arc of 500 mils (FP1) and 600 mils (FP2).
- There is to be an NSC appointed RO for each firing point.
Shooters
- Maximum of 8 shooters permitted per party.
- Price is inclusive of one experienced NSC RCO. Additional RCO for the usa of second firing point simulatenaeously will incur an additional fee.
Facilities
- Range building with a troop shelter providing a dry haven during inclement weather and impressive views.
- Hospitality room providing shelter, warmth and lighting
- Shelter to the back of firing point 1
- Ablutions consist of a portaloo and there is a car park conveniently situated near the firing point.

0830 – Sign in at Bisley Pavilion
0845 – Initial safety brief
0900 – Travel to Chobham Ridge Range
0930 – RO on range safety brief
Firing commences
1230 – Stoppage for Stickledown Marker access/egress
1315 – Stoppage for Stickledown Marker access/egress
1530 Latest Ceasefire
You will be required to travel to the range in your own vehicle, directions will be provided on the day.
For the use of firing point 1, your first shot must prove zero on a shotmarker target at approx. 200x away. Once zero has been proven you will be permitted to progress on to the steel plates under the direction of the NSC instructor, gradually increasing the distance to a maximum of 1000m.
If wishing to hire a firearm for the use of this range, this must be noted at the time of the booking. The NRA appointed RO will ensure they have this firearm available for you on your arrival to the range
This extensive range complex features five bays, Bay A containing 7 electronic advancing targets, whilst Bays B-E each offer 10 turning targets. The back of the range benefits from a covered firing point, and wheelchair ramps allowing access between Bays.
Most bays have the capacity to set up additional range funiture such as barricades, knockdown targets and Mini McQueen castles

Distance: 5m – 50m
Targets/Bays:
- 47 targets separated in to 5 Bays
- Bay A:
- 7 x advancing targets 7m – 50m
- Bays B-E:
- 10 turning targets (2x banks of 5) per bay
Type: Gallery Range
Danger area: Limited Danger Area (LDA)
Distance: 5m – 200yds
Targets:
- 27 lanes at 100yds
- 9 lanes at 200yds (19-27)
- McQueen Castles available to hire.
- 28 target turners (4x banks of 7) at 5m – 50m
- 12 target turners (2x banks of 6) at 5m – 20m
Additional notes:
- Lanes 1 – 4 are undercover and have 2x fixed benches per lane.
- Lane 5 is undercover and has a single fixed bench, as well as a prone lane outside of the cover.
- Electronic targets are available on the far right of this range at weekends. 100x – Saturday, 200x – Sunday subject to availability/competitions.

Danger area: Full Danger Area (FDA)
Distance: 800 – 1200yds
Targets:
- 50 lanes at 800 – 1100yds
- 25 lanes (21-33 and 39-50) at 1200yds
- Buffalo target (lane 51)
- Butt Zero range is located on the LHS of Stickledown
- 11 Intarso Electronic Targets
- Lanes 21-26 usually at 900x
- Lanes 46-50 usually at 1000x
- Target 50 is fitted with a shot detection system and in the unlikely case of a miss will identify the fall of shot (please note the shot detection system will not detect sub sonic projectiles).
Additional notes:
- There is no firing facility forward of the 800yd firing point.
- There is a road which cuts between firing points 30 and 31 for access in to Bisley Shooting Ground.

Distance: 5m – 25m
Targets:
- Bay A – 10 turning targets (2 x banks of 5)
- Bay B – 6 static target lanes
- Bay C (Zero Range) – 4 static target lanes at 71’ 7” for primary use of zeroing
Additional notes:
- BAY A
- Shotguns permitted: 12 -32 bore (including .410 bore)
- Hard targets: No4 or smaller shot
- Frangible targets: SG or smaller shot
- BAY B
- Shotguns permitted: Solid Slug only
- Bay B contains a HV canopy and rubber granulate trap
A short walk from the Clays Cafe, the Zero range is to be used for zeroing before shooting, or if you suspect your zero is inaccurate, or to provide proof of HME check.
The Zero range cannot be pre-booked. On the day of your booking please visit the Range Office to sign in and make payment. Please note if you are an affiliated club member you are only permitted to use the zero range the day of or 1 day prior to your cub booking.
A single bench is available on one of the lanes.
